About the Author
Shams Uddin
Graduating in Computer Science from University College, London, Shams Uddin has a keen interest in Science, History and Religion. Having travelled extensively throughout the world and experienced many cultures, he offers a unique global and historical perspective to writing.
Shams published his first novel “The Year from Jahannam” both as a paperback and e-book in the Spring of 2012. He is currently working on his second book called “The Glass Bastion”. He also published a short two part story “Doctor Who – The Fountain of Maturity” in Issue 11 of Sci-Fi fiction site “Inferno-Fiction.co.uk”. He has written many articles in the past for magazines such as Dreamwatch, Frame, Private Who and Tardis.
Shams is also planning to publish a children's book entitled "Princess Shiny and the Frantic Frog" which will be the first of a series of Princess Shiny books.
Shams was born in London and considers himself a staunch British Muslim. He works in the Broadcast and Media Industry managing Software Development and Project Delivery. He lives in West London with his wife and three children.
